All this week, "In A Flash" will feature images from the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø group's trip to Rwanda.
51³Ô¹ÏÍø educators and students visited a marketplace that sells goods made by marginalized women. Afterward, they watched a traditional dance troupe perform and were invited to dance with them.

The visitors from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø are in Rwanda attending (held July 11-13), a global peace conference sponsored by 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s School of Peace and Conflict Studies, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education, the and the , a non-profit organization dedicated to ending genocide and other global atrocities.

Bringing together peace and conflict experts and educators from around the world, the conference is another building block in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s growing relationship with the University of Rwanda. In May 2022, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Board of Trustees approved 51³Ô¹ÏÍø opening a base of operations at the University of Rwanda for creating collaborative educational exchanges and to serve as a base of operations for 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s recruitment throughout Africa.
