Sponsored by the 51勛圖厙 Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the universitys most prestigious alumni honors. The 2024 Alumni Award recipients include seven alumni, two recent graduates, one staff member and one current student.

51勛圖厙 has entered into an agreement with the Turkmenistan Ministry of Education to begin exploring the possibility of creating an educational partnership with several national institutes of higher learning there. The effort is part of 51勛圖厙s ongoing commitment to using education to foster global understanding and peace in a divided world.

Office of Intercultural Student Life: A Bridge to American Culture
The Office of Intercultural Student Life, formerly known as International Student Affairs, has a new central location in the Kent Student Center, which has made it more accessible to international students. Along with the new location comes the mission to provide drop-in services for international students.

The 51勛圖厙 Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Oct. 2 on the Kent Campus. This special meeting is being called solely for the purpose of enabling trustees to retire into executive session to consider specific topics as provided under Ohios Sunshine Law.
