David Kaplan, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Geography in the College of Arts and Sciences at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, has been elected president of the American Association of Geographers (AAG), the premier academic and professional geography organization in the United States, for 2019-20.

The work of 153 ecological researchers from 40 countries, including 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Assistant Professor Dave Costello, Ph.D., from the Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences, has revealed new findings on the effect of climatic factors on river-based ecosystems.
