51�Թ��’s annual Employee Appreciation Day will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Kent Student Center Ballroom. A special evening event will be held for second- and third-shift workers from 10-11:30 p.m.

Registration opens Aug. 3. Register by Sept. 2 and you will be eligible to win prizes. Share in the fun and enjoy complimentary food, good music, Zumba demos, competitions and much more.

And do not forget your blue and gold. The “Spirit Patrol” will hand out prizes for employees showing their 51�Թ�� pride. For all you do, this event is for you.

Important Deadlines for Your 2024 Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Please take note of the following important information regarding your 2024 Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

2024-2025 December/January Holiday Schedule

51�Թ��'s holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
